Vivek Kumar

Vivek Kumar, PhD, DABCC, FAACC, is an accomplished expert in clinical chemistry with extensive leadership experience in various roles at Quest Diagnostics and med fusion, including the current position as Director, Science. With a strong background in directing laboratory departments and leading clinical trials, Vivek has also served as Scientific Director and Technical Director, focusing on the development of advanced testing methodologies. Active in academic and professional communities, Vivek is a Fellow of the AACC Academy, participates on the ACCENT Review Board, and has held academic positions teaching medical students. Previous experiences include clinical chemist roles at Beaumont Health System and a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Educational achievements include a PhD in Biochemistry from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research and a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship from Mayo Graduate School.
