Jaida Pryor, M.S. is currently a Population Science Coordinator at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in culturally-responsive interventions for hypertension self-management in African American primary care patients. In the past, Jaida worked as a Behavioral Health Intern in an integrated care setting, focusing on the biopsychosocial approach in medical family therapy. Additionally, Jaida serves as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Move Toward Change, LLC. Earlier experiences include serving as a Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic Assistant at Texas Woman's University, working as a Marketing Manager at Dominion Restoration and Environmental Service, and interning at the Wrongful Convictions Clinic at Duke University School of Law. The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy. We represent the professional interests of more than 50,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the United States, Canada and abroad. Since our founding in 1942, the AAMFT has been involved with the problems, needs and changing patterns of couples and family relationships.
