Jaida Pryor

Jaida Pryor, M.S. is currently a Population Science Coordinator at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in culturally-responsive interventions for hypertension self-management in African American primary care patients. In the past, Jaida worked as a Behavioral Health Intern in an integrated care setting, focusing on the biopsychosocial approach in medical family therapy. Additionally, Jaida serves as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Move Toward Change, LLC. Earlier experiences include serving as a Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic Assistant at Texas Woman's University, working as a Marketing Manager at Dominion Restoration and Environmental Service, and interning at the Wrongful Convictions Clinic at Duke University School of Law. Jaida holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and African and African American Studies from Duke University.
