Scott Schutzman MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing transformative therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families in New York City since April 2013. With extensive experience in the field, Scott has worked as a Family Therapist and Addiction Counselor at the Lexington Center for Recovery, where the focus was on aiding individuals and families in overcoming substance abuse. Scott has also served as a Clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) since 2011 and has held teaching positions related to drug and alcohol abuse curriculum. Scott’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and specialized training in Family Systems. Prior to a focused career in therapy, Scott had a successful career in the performing arts as an actor, writer, and director.
