Heather Cooney Cmp

Heather Cooney, CMP, CEM, currently serves as the Director of Exhibits & Sponsorships at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), a position held since July 2018. In this role, Heather leads the exhibit sales team, develops comprehensive sales strategies, manages negotiations, and oversees industry programming. Prior experience includes various managerial roles in exhibits and sponsorships at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) from September 2010 to June 2018, and an internship as a Convention Coordinator at the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, earned in 2010.
