Jeremy Young currently serves as the Senior Advisor for Strategic Initiatives at the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) since April 2025, where responsibilities include identifying strategic initiatives and enhancing financial support for the organization. Prior to this role, Jeremy held multiple positions at PEN America from January 2022 to March 2025, including Director of State and Higher Education Policy, Freedom to Learn Program Director, and Senior Manager of Free Expression and Education, focusing on advocacy against censorship in educational settings. Additional experience includes serving as Interim Executive Director of the Coalition for Responsible Home Education and Communications and Marketing Manager for the American Historical Association. Jeremy has been recognized as a 2021 NLC Fellow and holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in 20th-Century U.S. History from Indiana University Bloomington.
