Paul L. Gaston

Paul L. Gaston is an experienced academic and consulting professional with a robust background in higher education. Currently serving as an Assisting Priest at St. Paul's Episcopal Church and a Distinguished Fellow at the Association of American Colleges and Universities, Paul has been actively involved in consulting since 2007, focusing on liberal education and strategic planning. Paul holds the title of Trustees Professor Emeritus from Kent State University, where Paul previously served as Provost and Chief Academic Officer. Prior experience includes roles as Provost and Executive Vice President at Northern Kentucky University and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Paul earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University.
