Katie Owings Bruce has an extensive background in student affairs and application services within the higher education sector, currently serving as the Director of Application Services and Student Programs at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy since January 2012. Previously, Katie held several positions at AACP, including Associate Director of Student Affairs and Manager of Student Affairs, as well as roles in research and education programs. Prior to AACP, Katie gained experience as a Production Coordinator and Project Manager at EFX Media, where responsibilities included managing video production teams and technical resources for a significant communications firm. Katie began the professional journey as a Production Specialist at WRIC TV8 Young Broadcasting and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts & Design with a focus on Corporate Communications from James Madison University.
