Lara Kanitra

Lara Kanitra is a seasoned communications professional with significant experience in managing communications and marketing initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons since March 2020, Lara previously held the position of Manager of Communications and Marketing at the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases from April 2017 to March 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing a communications calendar, email marketing, and social media management. Prior experience includes a role as Marketing Manager for Technology and Publications, where Lara oversaw the development of promotional materials and led marketing strategies at the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
