Tina Morris is an accomplished leader in the pharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as Executive Director of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) since April 2020. With extensive experience in regulatory and scientific affairs, Tina previously held the position of Vice President of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at the Parenteral Drug Association from June 2018 to April 2020, where oversight included technical reports and standards-development programs. Tina's earlier career includes significant roles at the US Pharmacopeia as Senior Vice President for both Compendial Science and Biological Standards, and various positions at Human Genome Sciences Inc. and Ciphergen Biosystems Inc. Tina's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Virology from Universität zu Lübeck and postdoctoral training in Molecular Virology at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID/NIH).
