Doug MacKus

Doug Mackus has over 48 years of experience in tooling and maintenance within the manufacturing industry. Currently serving as Tooling Manager at American Autocoat since January 2005, responsibilities include building prototype racks, maintaining production tooling, and collaborating with suppliers for cost efficiencies. Previously, Doug worked as Tool Room Supervisor/Foreman at Trident Lighting LLC for 30 years, where supervision of over 20 employees, design and repair of steel stamping dies and plastic molds, and purchasing for tooling suppliers were key duties. Doug also possesses extensive experience in maintenance across molding, paint, and assembly facilities, including electrical troubleshooting and compliance with QS9000 standards.
