Ilir Rudi

Ilir Rudi, CPA, CFE, MBA, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Chief Risk Officer and Head of Internal Audit Division at American Bank of Investments since October 2015. In this role, Ilir also advises the CEO on internal control functions. Prior to this position, Ilir worked at KPMG Albania as a Manager in Advisory Services, focusing on operational reviews and audits across various companies in the Balkans. Ilir's earlier experience includes positions as an Audit Manager at American Express and as an Audit Senior Associate at KPMG US, where Ilir specialized in the middle-market banking industry. Ilir began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at St. John's University. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Public Accounting from St. John's University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester, complemented by a minor in Finance and certificates in International Relations, Biology, and Chemistry.
