Janae Leflore

Janae LeFlore, CPA, CIA, serves as the Associate Executive Director and Chief Governance Officer of the American Bar Association since February 2012, overseeing the development and adherence to operational policies while providing expert counsel on governance practices to Senior Leadership. Previous roles within the Association include Director of Policy and Planning Division and Director of Internal Audit, where Janae managed audits and strategic guidance on process improvements. Prior to joining the American Bar Association, Janae worked as Senior Manager of Risk & Audit at Nicor National and Associate Director of Global Risk Management at Bear Stearns. Early career experience includes a position as Associate in General Auditing at JPMorgan Chase. Janae holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Accounting from Hampton University.
