Melissa Buckley

Melissa Buckley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event programming and management at the American Bar Association since September 2014. In the roles of Associate Director of Programming and Program Manager, Melissa is responsible for overseeing 25+ conferences and webinars annually, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and maintaining high standards for attendee and volunteer experiences. Previous roles include Program Specialist, Program Associate, and Administrative Assistant, where Melissa demonstrated expertise in transitioning events to virtual formats and mentoring colleagues. Prior to the American Bar Association, Melissa served as Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, successfully managing mentor-mentee pairings. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington.
