William Adams has extensive work experience in the field of legal education and accreditation. William is currently the Managing Director of Accreditation and Legal Education at the American Bar Association, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Managing Director at the American Bar Association's Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar from August 2014 to April 2020. Before joining the American Bar Association, Adams was the Dean of Western State College of Law from June 2009 to August 2014. William began their career in academia as a Professor at Nova Southeastern University, where they worked from December 1989 to June 2009.
William Adams attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1972 to 1975, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following this, they pursued a J.D. degree in Law at Indiana University Bloomington from 1975 to 1978.
