Laura Beth Nielsen

Laura Beth Nielsen is a Professor of Sociology at Northwestern University, where Nielsen has served since September 2006, following a tenure as Associate Professor. In addition to the role at Northwestern, Nielsen is a Research Professor at the American Bar Foundation, a position held since July 1999. Laura Beth Nielsen earned both a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, completing studies from 1992 to 1999.
