Eric Akkashian

Eric Akkashian is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in systems and application engineering across various energy sectors. Currently serving as a Systems Engineer at American Battery Solutions Inc. since July 2020, Eric has previously held senior roles at A123 Systems and Exide Technologies, focusing on lithium-ion and lead acid battery technologies. Prior experience includes significant contributions to advanced applications at Guardian Industries Corp., where innovative energy-efficient building facades were developed, and product development at United Solar Ovonic, specializing in photovoltaic systems. Eric began a career in engineering as a Process Engineer at United Solar Systems Corporation and as a Remediation Engineer at Michigan Environmental Services. Eric holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
