Alex Assyia

Alex Assyia, P.E. is a seasoned Electrical Engineer currently serving as Staff Electrical Engineer at American Battery Technology Company since October 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure at Kiewit from May 2014 to October 2023, where Alex held multiple roles including Industrial Estimating Electrical/Instrumentation Department Manager. In this capacity, responsibilities encompassed leading a team in developing extensive estimates for large-scale industrial projects, overseeing staffing and training, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Alex’s electrical engineering design experience spans power generation projects, including power plants and renewable energy systems, with expertise in circuit design, electrical studies, and on-site engineering support. Alex has also held leadership roles in project management and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring cost-effective and value-driven engineering solutions. An alumnus of The University of Kansas, Alex earned a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Business.
