Marine Pinabel is an experienced interpretative guide currently working with the American Battle Monuments Commission since June 2020. Previous roles include working as a tourist advisor and guide at Bayeux Intercom, a teacher of French, history, geography, civic education, and Latin at UREC, and a stewardess at Brittany Ferries, where customer service and sales were key components of the role. Marine also has experience as a cultural mediator at the Mémorial de Caen and as a receptionist for the Cherbourg town hall, facilitating visitor information and engagement. Marine holds a Certified Interpretative Guide degree from the National Association for Interpretation and has completed two Master's degrees in heritage professions and international relations from Université de Caen Normandie and Université Rennes 2, respectively, alongside a diploma in territorial tourism coordination promotion from Afpa.
