Doug Crissman demonstrates extensive leadership and advisory experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving on the International Council of the American Battle Monuments Foundation, as well as holding positions such as Executive Coach at FlightSafety International and Corporate Advisor at ScioTeq, Doug is actively engaged in various capacities. Additionally, contributions include serving as a Board Member for the Wounded Warriors In Action Foundation, INC, and as a Consultant while participating in the Army Advisory Council with Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services. Doug's background as a Faculty Member, Senior Advisor, and Instructor at Thayer Leadership and the United States Army War College, coupled with roles in management and independent consulting, underscores a commitment to leadership development and strategic advisory. We engage the public - especially young people, to ensure that the sacrifices of the nearly 287,000 Americans military service members who are buried or memorialized at American military cemeteries and monuments overseas remain relevant, so that future generations my live in liberty. Their sacrifice is not only a legacy of the past but also an enduring reminder of the price of freedom and the commitment of the United States and her allies to ensure lasting stability and peace. The American Battle Monuments Commission (abmc.gov) is the federal agency charged with the management of the 26 American military cemeteries and 31 monuments located in 17 foreign countries. ABMF is the non-profit partner of ABMC, picking up with education and outreach where its congressional charter leaves off.
