Thomas P. Hand

United States Military Academy, 1982; MBA, Campbell University, 1986; Army officer, Fort Bragg, NC, 1983-1986; Brand Management, Proctor & Gamble 1986-1988; Baskin-Robbins, 1988-1994; Owner/CEO, Gilman Cheese Corporation, 1994-2019. Tom is retired and spends most of his time writing a newspaper column and blog called Americana Corner, stories about America’s wonderful past, and helping charitable organizations devoted to teaching about America’s first century. Tom also enjoys reading books on American history and classic novels, as well as gardening, playing his guitar and singing, and traveling the byways and waterways of America with his lovely wife Char.
