William Dermody

Vice President, Media And Public Affairs at American Beverage

William Dermody has held various leadership positions throughout their work experience. From 2014 to present, they have been the Vice President of Media and Public Affairs at the American Beverage Association, where they oversee media relations and public affairs for the association. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Policy at the same organization, working closely with beverage companies and local bottlers to develop industry policies. Before their time at the American Beverage Association, Dermody worked at USA TODAY, starting in 1999 as Deputy Night Editor, then Editor of the News General Assignment Desk, and eventually becoming the Editor of World News/Military Affairs. William was responsible for overseeing the coverage of foreign news, military engagements, and the Pentagon. Dermody also has experience at the Associated Press, where they served as a Reporter and later became the National Editor.

From 1978 to 1985, William Dermody attended Salem State University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance.
