John Poulton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the polymer chemistry industry. John has been with American Biltrite, Inc. since August 1986, where John currently holds the title of VP Research & Development, overseeing Product Development, Technical Service, and Quality Assurance. Prior to their role at American Biltrite, Inc., John worked at National Casein as a Polymer Chemist, specializing in polymerized structural adhesives for the construction industry. John graduated from Rutgers University - Camden with a BS in Chemistry in 1986.

ABI Tape is a division of American Biltrite Inc. Founded 1908, American Biltrite became one of America’s first tape manufacturers with their line of friction, rubber, and plastic tapes. For more than 100 years, we have worked tirelessly to perfect the art of tape manufacturing, to create a diverse line of products for a variety of markets all over the world. ABI Tape presently produces a range of pressure sensitive tapes for the Automotive, Graphics, HVAC, Insulation, Industrial, Shoe and Surface Protection markets. ABI Tape is headquartered in Moorestown, NJ, where its protective films and papers are manufactured. A second domestic manufacturing plant, Ideal Tape, is located in Lowell, MA, where products for the HVAC, Insulation, Industrial and Shoe markets are manufactured. ABI Tape operates converting facilities in Belgium, Singapore and Italy, as well as sales offices in Shanghai, Bangkok and Seoul, to better serve our customers all over the world.
