Rob Shepherd

Rob Shepherd, PhD, MBA, currently serves as a Professor at Cornell University, having held the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor since November 2012. Additionally, Rob is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors and serves as a Technology Advisor for the American Bionics Project and Co-Founder of Organic Robotics Corporation. Previous experience includes consulting for Soft Robotics Inc., a post-doctoral research position at Harvard University, and founding Liquid Glass Technologies, Inc. Rob has an extensive educational background, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with visiting studies at both MIT and Harvard University.
