Knef Lizaso M.D.

Knef Lizaso, MD, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and executive leadership. Currently serving as an Executive Board Member and founding member at Southern California Emergency Medical Group since July 2020, Knef Lizaso also holds the position of Vice President and Director of Emergency Medicine at medtigo since July 2019. In addition, Knef Lizaso serves as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Providence Health & Services and participates in various committees, including the Medical Executive Committee and Sepsis Steering Committees. Knef Lizaso is an examiner and diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, an expert in medical admissions through Medical Admissions Advisors, and has a background in molecular biology from Mercator Genetics, Inc. Education includes a Bachelor of Science from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco, followed by residency training at Harbor-UCLA.
