Robert Thomas, DO, FACEP is an accomplished emergency physician currently providing independent contractor services through Envision & Team Health since November 2014. With extensive experience in the field, Robert has served as a board-certified Diplomate with the American Board of Emergency Medicine since November 2003. Prior to their current role, Robert held emergency physician positions at multiple institutions, including Capital Regional Medical Center and Memorial Hospital Jacksonville from July 2002 to September 2019, and also contributed as an administrative partner at both Titan Emergency Group and Southeast Practice Management. Robert served as Medical Director and Emergency Physician at Putnam Community Medical Center from 2009 to 2011. Robert obtained a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Albert Einstein Medical Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Business Minor from John Carroll University.

The American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional standing, and examination standards. ABEM certification is sought and earned by emergency physicians on a voluntary basis; ABEM is not a membership association. The ABEM mission is to ensure the highest standards in the specialty of Emergency Medicine.
