Kristin Paulyson Nuñez

Kristin Paulyson Nuñez has a diverse work experience in the field of genetic counseling and healthcare. Kristin started their career as a Sr. Genetic Counselor at Duke University Health System in 1996, where they currently hold the position of Clinical Team Lead. Kristin has been influential in the field as President of the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) and previously served as Past President. Additionally, they have been involved in the Foundation for Women & Girls With Blood Disorders, serving on the Medical Advisory Committee and as a Consultant. Kristin has also been a Member of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Genetic Counseling since 2017.

Kristin Paulyson Nuñez completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human/Medical Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in 1994. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from Simmons University in 1992. In addition, they obtained certification as a Genetics Counselor from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
