Katherine Torres-Hertz

Katherine Torres-Hertz, MOL, serves as the Associate Vice President of Certification Standards and Programs at the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), a position held since April 2016, providing strategic oversight and support for Member Boards in implementing new Continuing Certification standards. Prior to this role, Katherine held various positions at ABMS, including Operations Director and Director within Certification Standards and Programs, managing operational policies, budget, and project leadership for important committees. Katherine's earlier experience includes project management roles at the American Medical Association, where responsibilities spanned onboarding medical schools for key initiatives and overseeing the execution of educational projects. Katherine holds a Master of Organizational Leadership from North Park University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.
