Mary Farias is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gymnastics coaching and administration. As the Owner, Program Director, and Head Coach at Tucson Gymnastics Center since July 2012, Mary oversees a range of gymnastics classes for children from walking age to 18 years. In addition, Mary has contributed as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for University of Arizona Gymnastics since January 2012. Mary's publishing endeavors began in November 2009 with IrisBlu Publishing, while also serving as an Exam Developer for The American Board of Radiology since July 2009. Prior experience includes roles as Federal Relations and Intergovernmental Coordinator for Maricopa County Government Relations from March 2007 to July 2009 and Executive Secretary for the Arizona Secretary of State from July 2005 to January 2007. Mary Farias holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The University of Arizona, completed in 2002.

The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). We were founded to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements. We are accountable both to the public and to the medical profession.
