The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). We were founded to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements.

The Software Development team at the American Board of Radiology is responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing digital platforms and tools that support the board certification process. This includes developing and improving online exams, maintaining the Online Longitudinal Assessment (OLA) platform, and ensuring robust IT infrastructure to support these initiatives. The team collaborates closely with exam developers and IT specialists to ensure a seamless and secure experience for candidates and certified professionals.
