John Gray

John Gray has extensive experience in the performing arts and healthcare education. Currently serving as an Exam Proctor for the American Board of Surgery since October 2020, John previously worked as a Standardized Patient for the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) from December 2006 to June 2021. Additionally, John has a rich background in acting, having performed with Trap Door Theatre from 1997 to 2013 and with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company for a brief period in 2011-2012. Earlier in the career, John also held a role as a Visitor Services Representative at The Art Institute of Chicago in 1995. John Gray holds a degree from Central Michigan University, awarded in 1991, with a focus on acting for Timeline Theatre Company.
