Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in bridge and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as the General Foreman for Bridges and Station Sub Structure at Weston Contractors since April 2022, Brian previously held the position of General Foreman for Cast in Place and Segmental Bridge Formwork with American Bridge Company, managing the Tawatina Bridge as part of the Valley Line LRT project. Prior roles include General Foreman at EllisDon, overseeing cast in place and cast off line spans for the Valley Line LRT project, and Construction Supervisor at Flatiron Construction, focusing on structural components for the North East Anthony Henday Ring Road. Brian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management from NAIT, a Bachelor of Science in Energy and Facilities Management from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, and a Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship from the same institute.
