Michele Rowcliffe

Michele Rowcliffe is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the camping and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the American Camp Association, New England, since August 2020, Michele is dedicated to enhancing the quality of summer camp experiences through accreditation and professional development for camp professionals. Prior to this role, Michele held various leadership positions at the YMCA of Greater Rochester, including Vice President of Camping Services, where responsibilities included collaborating with senior leadership to advance strategic plans and overseeing successful operations at Camp Cory and Camp Gorham. Michele's expertise encompasses facility development, budget management, staff training, and digital marketing initiatives, highlighting a commitment to operational excellence and community engagement.
