Susan Waldron

Susan Waldron is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications at American Century Investments since September 2020, Waldron leads the team responsible for public relations, internal communications, and social media strategies. Previously, Waldron held key roles at H&R Block as Director of External and Internal Communications, where leadership spanned PR strategy, influencer relationships, and content development, all aimed at modernizing the company's image. Other notable positions include Head of Communications and Customer Experience at GE Power, Vice President of Corporate Communications at YRC Worldwide, and Director of Communications at Sprint. Waldron holds a BA in Journalism from Iowa State University and completed the Emerging Leaders Program in Executive Leadership at Central Exchange of Kansas City.
