Jonathan Steed

Jonathan Steed is a prominent Professor of Chemistry at Durham University since January 2004, specializing in molecular materials chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, crystallography, and organic molecular solids, including pharmaceuticals. Steed has held editorial positions, currently serving as Editor-in-Chief for Crystal Growth & Design since January 2020, and previously as an Associate Editor for ChemComm and New Journal of Chemistry at the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prior to current roles, Steed was a Lecturer/Reader in Inorganic Chemistry at King's College London from September 1995 to January 2004 and worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Missouri and the University of Alabama, focusing on organometallic chemistry and crystallography. Steed earned a PhD in Chemistry from UCL between 1990 and 1993.
