Rajesh Parishwad

Rajesh Parishwad currently serves as the Senior Associate Director for Global Strategy for Society Programs at the American Chemical Society, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes over a decade at the Royal Society of Chemistry, where roles spanned from Head of Public Policy, Engagement & Government Relations for India and South Asia to External Relations Manager and India Representative. Rajesh also contributed to the British High Commission in India as a Senior Science & Innovation Advisor, focusing on the ICT sector. Earlier career highlights include serving as Principal Correspondent for The Week Magazine, where coverage included technology and business developments, and as Senior Reporter for Deccan Herald, specializing in IT and business. Rajesh holds a Chevening Fellowship in Science and Innovation Leadership from the University of Oxford, complemented by a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Karnatak University. Underlying academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science from Karnatak University.
