Sarah Tegen

Sarah Tegen, PhD, currently serves as the MIT Annual Giving Board Director at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since September 2024 and as the Chair of the Board of Directors and Board Member for STM since October 2020. Additionally, Sarah has been the Co-Chair of the Circles Board for The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts since October 2019, focusing on individual member-donor recruitment. At the American Chemical Society, Sarah has held various leadership positions since October 2005, including Senior Vice President and Chief Publishing Officer, where responsibilities encompass strategic planning for Journals Publishing. Sarah holds a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an SB in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
