Kat Khosrowyar

Associate Director, Regulatory And Scientific Affairs at American Chemistry

Kat Khosrowyar has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 as a Business Development professional at the Luxembourg External Trade Adviser Attache, where they focused on building business ties in the Middle East. Kat then worked as a Business Development Consultant at Unify Consulting in 2019, followed by a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Baker Institute Center for Energy Studies. In 2022, they joined the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) as a Research Fellow, assisting with the launch of the ICT Vertical. Kat also held various roles at the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC), including Global Partnerships Manager and Strategic Partnership Coordinator, and participated in a Fellowship. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at the Women's Equality in Soccer Foundation and was part of the Leadership Team at the Asian American Pacific Islander United Soccer Coaches Community. In 2023, they became an Associate Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at the American Chemistry Council and a Next-Gen Global Leader member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. Overall, Kat has experience in business development, research, partnership coordination, and leadership roles in international organizations.

Kat Khosrowyar has a Master of Arts degree in Global Affairs from Rice University, which was obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2012. In 2006 to 2007, they studied Chemical Engineering at Saint Louis University - Madrid Campus. Additionally, they hold an AFC/FIFA A License from The Asian Football Confederation.
