Jennelle Root Martell is an experienced professional in project management, grant administration, and communications within the beverage and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Special Projects Manager at the American Cider Association, Jennelle is responsible for managing logistics for the annual CiderCon event and supporting Congressional advocacy efforts. Previously, as a consultant and podcast host for Women and the Drinks Biz, Jennelle highlighted the contributions of women in the alcohol industry while sharing personal insights from starting a cider company. As a co-founder and overseer at South City Ciderworks, Jennelle managed operations, sales, and compliance for the business. Earlier roles included Conservation Grants Administrator at Trout Unlimited and Director of Programs and Grants at Sister Cities International, where Jennelle secured significant funding and managed various youth and event programs. Jennelle holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Affairs and Anthropology from the University of Virginia, complemented by studies at Oxford University.

The American Cider Association is an organization of cider and perry producers in the United States. It gathers and shares information about cider production, cider regulations, and cider apple growing to help members improve their operations, raise awareness, and advance cider in the market. CiderCon 2018 will be held in Baltimore. Registration will open in October!
