Andy Medici

Andy Medici is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in economic and small business reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Reporter for The Playbook at American City Business Journals since April 2020, Andy focuses on significant topics including the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program and the Federal Reserve's Main Street Lending program. Prior to this role, Andy worked as a Senior Money Reporter at the Washington Business Journal from June 2015 to May 2021, covering various aspects of the region’s economy. Additional experience includes staff writer positions at The Federal Times and BNA, Inc., as well as a managing editor role at The Northside Chronicle, illustrating a strong background in both community and federal reporting. Andy holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Public Policy from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Military History from the University of Pittsburgh.
