Justin Cooksey

Justin Cooksey currently serves as the Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing Policy at the American Clean Power Association, a position held since August 2025. Prior to this, Justin held the role of Advisor in the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response at the U.S. Department of Energy from July 2023 to July 2025. Justin's experience also includes working as a Senior Energy Sector Specialist and Energy Sector Specialist at ICF from June 2020 to July 2023, and as a Research Assistant at the NC Clean Energy Technology Center from June 2019 to May 2020. Earlier in Justin's career, a Public Affairs Intern position was held at LEVICK in the summer of 2018, and a Research Assistant role at Atlas Research from June 2017 to January 2018. Justin earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy from 2018 to 2020 and holds a degree in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Virginia, completed in 2019.
