Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, Gerry worked as a Software System Developer and Consultant at Microsoft, specializing in database-driven applications for the North Sea Oil industry. A period of self-employment as a Photographer from 1986 to 1993 involved commercial and industrial photography.
