Paul Choi

President at American Collectors Insurance

Paul Choi, CPCU, PMP, CSPO, MBA has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Paul is currently the President of the Collector Car Division at NSM Insurance Group, where they are responsible for driving sales and underwriting processes through technology and innovation. Prior to this, they served as the President of American Collectors Insurance.

Choi also held various roles at American Family Insurance, including Claims Technology and Innovation Director, Claims National Product Director, and State Product Director. In these positions, they managed cross-functional teams, developed and implemented claims technology strategies, and oversaw product management and pricing.

Before joining American Family Insurance, Choi worked at Safeco Insurance, where they served as the Director of State Operations, managing the Auto and Home product lines in multiple states. Paul also worked at Farmers Insurance, where they held roles such as Director of Product Management and Regional Product Manager, overseeing the Home product line and spearheading marketing and retention programs.

Choi started their career at Bobrick, Inc., where they held various roles, including Brand Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Paul was responsible for pricing, product development, competitive intelligence, and sales management.

Choi holds several professional certifications, including CPCU, PMP, and CSPO, and they hold an MBA degree.

Paul Choi, CPCU, PMP, CSPO, MBA has a BA in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Paul also holds an MBA with concentrations in Strategy, Marketing, and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition, Paul has obtained several certifications including CPCU in Good Standing from The Institutes, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Paul has also completed additional coursework.
