Andrea Cardona

Andrea Cardona currently serves as the Clinical and Scientific Chair of the Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics Program at Azienda Usl Umbria 1 and holds the position of Cardiology Consultant. Cardona is also active in several roles with the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, including Chair of the Translation Committee and Vice Chair of the SCMR Translations Committee. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Cardona focuses on advanced cardiovascular diagnostics and serves as a contributing author for the American College of Cardiology's self-assessment program. Additional responsibilities include ownership of Studio Cardiologico Cardona and faculty membership at the University of Perugia, along with previous roles at Qardio, Inc. and the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi. Cardona's educational background includes a PhD in Translational Medicine and specialization in Cardiology from the Università degli Studi di Perugia.
