Michael Vu is a seasoned Data and Analytics Engineer currently at the American College of Cardiology since November 2015, where responsibilities include building the National Cardiovascular Database Registries (NCDR) Data warehouse and analytics system, utilizing healthcare standard OMOP’s Common Data Model to aggregate patient data from 6,000 US hospitals. Previous experience includes serving as a Lead DBA Consultant at CSC, where Michael participated in architecting the NIH's enterprise data warehouse, and a Senior DBA at the American College of Cardiology, successfully building data warehouses that prioritize high performance and accuracy. Earlier roles involved database engineering for biomedical research at Discovery Logic and SQL development at DataLab USA, along with foundational work at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute. Michael holds an MBA from Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.
