Kyle Essex, NRP, FP-C, CCP-C, C-NPT, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of emergency medicine. Kyle currently works as a Flight Paramedic at AIT Airmed since 2023. In addition to their current role, Kyle also serves as the President of the Medical School Council of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), New Mexico chapter. Kyle is involved with various organizations, including the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA), where they hold positions such as Assistant Vice Chair of Toxicology and Assistant Vice Chair of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine. Kyle also founded and coordinates the Las Cruces Stop The Bleed initiative. Kyle previously worked as a Paramedic at American Medical Response, Sea Cliff Fire Dept, and Dona Ana County Fire Department. Additionally, they served as a Medical Student at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, where they held leadership roles in various interest groups. Kyle's experience also includes working at Northwell Health as a Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician, as well as a Telemetry Technician. Kyle also worked as a Critical Care Paramedic at Stony Brook University.

Kyle Essex has a diverse education history that spans multiple fields of study. In 2010, they began their undergraduate education at the State University of New York Cortland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSED). During their time there, they focused on physical education teaching and coaching, music, and exercise science. Kyle completed their undergraduate degree in 2014.

More recently, Kyle pursued their passion for medicine by attending the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. From 2021 to 2025, they worked towards their Doctor of Osteopathy degree, specializing in the field of medicine.

In addition to their educational background, Kyle Essex has obtained several certifications to enhance their medical expertise. Kyle became a paramedic certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in June 2020. In November 2019, they also obtained Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association.

Kyle further advanced their career by acquiring specialized certifications. In December 2020, they obtained a Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) from the International Board of Specialty Certifications. Additionally, in May 2021, they earned a Critical Care Paramedic Certification (CCP-C) from the same institution. Kyle'sdedication to providing quality care to neonatal and pediatric patients led him to achieve a Certification in Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) from The National Certification Corporation in July 2022.
