Sandra Schneider has extensive experience in emergency medicine and academic leadership. Currently serving as Past President of the American College of Emergency Physicians since 2009, Sandra previously held the position of Senior Research Director at North Shore University Hospital/Hofstra University from July 2013 to December 2014. Prior to this role, Sandra was a Professor and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 1993 to 2013. Sandra earned a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, completing the program between 1971 and 1975.
