Shari Erickson

Shari Erickson currently serves as the Chief Advocacy Officer and Senior Vice President, Governmental Affairs and Public Policy at the American College of Physicians, a role held since September 2007, with prior positions including Interim Chief Advocacy Officer, Vice President, and Director of Regulatory and Insurer Affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Program Director at the National Quality Forum from 2006 to 2007 and as Senior Program Analyst at the National Committee for Quality Health Care from 2005 to 2006, following its merger with NQF. Shari's career began at the Institute of Medicine as a Program Officer from 2000 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Russian from Miami University.
