Steven Weinberger

Steven Weinberger serves as the EVP/CEO Emeritus at the American College of Physicians, a position held since July 2010, following tenure as Executive Vice President and CEO. Additionally, Steven has been an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Perelman School of Medicine since 2004. Prior to these roles, Steven was the Senior VP for Medical Education and Publishing at the American College of Physicians from 2004 to 2010 and the Executive Director of the Carl J. Shapiro Institute for Education and Research from 2000 to 2004. Steven's extensive experience includes serving as Executive Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School between 1978 and 2004. Steven earned an M.D. from Harvard Medical School and an A.B. in Chemistry from Princeton University.
