Caroline Canter possesses extensive experience in environmental and community-focused roles. As an AR Administrator, National Operations Manager, and USFS Member Manager at the American Conservation Experience since September 2019, Caroline has developed strong leadership and operational skills. In addition, Caroline serves as a Policy Committee Member for the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance Inc and has also been a Lead Course Instructor at the University of Utah since August 2020. Previous roles include Volunteer & Recruitment Coordinator at Sundance Institute, Chapter Manager for Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter, and various positions within AmeriCorps. American Conservation Experience (ACE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing rewarding environmental service opportunities for youth, young adults, and emerging professionals of all backgrounds to explore and improve public lands while gaining practical professional experience. ACE is a national leader in recruiting, coordinating, and training volunteers to undertake practical environmental restoration projects in U.S. parks, forests, wildlife refuges, and other public lands. Our programs provide opportunities for youth, young adults, and emerging professionals of all backgrounds to gain tangible professional and field experience through meaningful, hands-on conservation projects. In 2004, ACE began as a small, international conservation program in Flagstaff, Arizona, engaging global volunteers in an American Conservation Experience through rewarding public lands projects. Since then, we have grown to serve locations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, continuing our mission to foster cross-cultural understanding and unity through national service.
