John Avedian

John Avedian, CSP, currently serves as a Senior Safety Officer at Harvard University, a role commenced in September 2016, which includes implementing Occupational Health & Facilities programs across multiple departments. Avedian co-founded the Society of Armenian Safety Professionals in January 2021 and has also been a Professional Mentor to U.S. Military Veterans for American Corporate Partners since November 2023, aiding veterans in securing fulfilling careers. Avedian's career began with internships at the United States Congress and the Armenian Assembly of America in 2002, followed by a practicum at the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology in early 2019. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
